¡Tengo lija! (Pronounced "leeha"): Mishmash Culture

In my mind Mishmash Foods are Fusion Foods for 2 or more cultures. Here is one of my favorites. Chicken in Cumin Red Sauce with Olives and Raisins.

This is how it works:

You choose a menu, (one entre, one salad, one soup/appetizer, and one side dish per person) invite up to 10 people for the meal and class.

I buy all ingredients, teach all how to make it, and we prepare it and then you eat!!!!

These are some menu’s ideas:

Middle Eastern Meal Ideas: Humus, Babba Ganush, Swarma, Tabulee, Fatush Salad, Chicken /Lamb/Brisket with Apricots and Figs, more,

Argentinian Meal ideas: Empanadas, Beef Stew, Pastel de carne, Eggplant salad, Avocado Salad,

Other Meals: Chicken with Green Olives and Raisin, Lamb Tagine, Beef in Tomato Sauce, Tomato Pomegranate Salad, Avocado Tomato Salad, etc.

Vegetarian Meal: Potato/Spinach Feta Boreks, Beets, Arugula, Goat Cheese Salad, African Peanut Soup, Bulgur Mushroom and Feta, Asparagus Torte, Butternut Squash Gallete, etc.

Make your own menu: choose one entre, one salad, one soup/appetizer, and one side dish from any menu.
